Prologue Exhibition, London

This was a fun little gallery to work in. Nancy Victor Gallery (The Basement Gallery) Organised by Timid and Remi Rough.
A group show with Jay One, Juice 126, LX One, Remi Rough & Timid.
Working on discarded packaging. I love recycling surfaces that already look worked into. And the challenge to work with the layouts space provided. I usually name the pieces after words or numbers found on the packaging.
All the pieces are sold. The character on the flyer is from my sketchbook. Design by Remi Rough
The opening was packed. Here you can my painting were all framed. See, I do sometimes frame my work.

Delivery Notification. Pen, ink and watercolour.
Its rare to get white packaging. And unwrapped, the parcel tape made for some nice abstract design. It also nicely rejected the watercolour.

Documents Enclosed. Pen, Ink and acrylic
Named after the documents sleeve still on the envelope. The original System outline is lined up specifically to show the letters hidden behind the character. It folds up nicely to display the hands. You can still remove it from the sleeve

Co-Op and Three. Acrylic, Spraypaint and Ink stamps
These had been used as packaging. I keep a stash of sections of parcels that look interesting.
