“Protection Spell” 21cm x 30cm
Going back to my Vision Course In Psychics style.
Drawing, made in black biro, on old recycled paper. 36 year old magazine papers. End of roll castoffs used as packing material. It has a unique texture made from the dripping ink from the printing process at the end of a roll of magazine paper.
What looks like a bondage image is actually a protection spell to ward off future harm. Thorns are used in spells.
Protective jars and bottles. The thorns create a barrier that stops anything coming toward you with harmful intent.
Three thorns at your front door — hidden in the soil of a plant pot or pressed into the doorframe — act as sentinels. Anything trying to cross that threshold with ill intent gets caught.
Cord magic. Wind a cord around a thorn, set your intention, and bury or burn it. The thorn acts as an anchor.
A single thorn carried in a small pouch, or pinned to the inside of your clothing, acts as a personal protective ward.
MY binding spell is more symbolism. Suffer a small self inflicted amount of pain now to protect you from greater pain later.
