LP and CD Record covers for Cisco Ferriera’s side project ‘Soul Destroyaz’ for Kombination Research and Synewave records
I tried to create an S.D. logo that was a nice symmetrical shape and went with the Rorschach inkblot test for the background image. I only had to create a few inkblots and found the one I liked pretty quickly.
I created the broken font ‘Hell Thin’, which was a variant of ‘Autumn Hell’ and ‘Autumn Hollow Hell’
To thin out the main title I used Hell Hollowed on top of Hell Thin to overwrite the details.
The front and back of the CD cover. I really liked the abstract circle designs. Based on mirrored fossil patterns, they really work with the three colour design.
