Stu Allan, Piccadilly Radio 103fm ‘Bus’ Diss!’ Hip Hop radio show
I used to love this show. This was a Manchester radio show but we could get it in North Wales. Around 1987, every weekend, fanatically taping the shows for the latest hip hop. I got a nice shout out from Stu about my outline up in Spin Inn Records, which got me a gig to do T-Shirts for the shop. So I was lucky enough to get to do a couple of t-shirts for Stu Allan. The Schooly D was the first design, this one was a huge hit in the store. I think I was asked to make it more readable for the second one. Very 80’s. Not to everyone’s taste… but they did keep selling out, so suck your mum!
Mr Spins Manchester radio station archive has a couple of Bus’ Diss shows on there.
