A mix of really old illustrations. I find these interesting now as I was trying out a new technique for almost a year. Pencil drawing, quickly coloured. Then covered over in colour pastels and then using colour pencil to scrape off the pastel layer for the finish. Even the monotone was white pastel scraped off with the final pencil outline. I like the dynamic scratchiness of it. One of the last images I did in this style, called Mother Earth, took so long to do. But I felt I had perfected it how I wanted it to look, and I never worked in that style ever again. LOL
