The Advent – New Beginnings LP cover. 1997
Created for @ciscoadvent #theadvent I enjoyed making these but never got a good copy of them, it was a time before it was easy to send digital copies.
Drawn to scale in biro, so the LP cover would be the size of the originals, on dye and bleached background. Gatefold sleeve. The inside depicting Cisco and Colin shedding their Advent skins to reveal their faces. The abstract letter A in the title also coming from the hand would be used as the main Advent logo for future record labels. I just did the illustrations for this, Green Ink did the graphic design.
The last image is from the back of the CD case. I don’t know why it wasn’t used for the LP 1997 as they just use a close up detail. I don’t have a copy of the original artwork for this one. I had to post it out before I could get a copy.
